Everyone at International Line Builders, from management to linemen, are committed to quality, productivity and safety. Our never-ending dedication to protecting our most precious asset - our people - is what has made us the industry leader.

To maintain that status, every new employee is given a thorough and effective New Hire Safety Orientation. From there, a Project/Job Hazard Analysis, Daily Job Briefing and Daily Task Hazard Analysis, as well as Weekly Safety Meeting are used to further enhance our core value. Site Safety Inspections conducted by all levels of management result in a healthier, happier and more productive team.

Transmission & Distribution

Our Work Speaks for Itself

Throughout the West, our crews have replaced thousands of transmission structures and installed just as many miles of new conductor. We’ve also installed, repaired and maintained overhead distribution lines for as long as we’ve been in business. Whether we perform under fixed-price contracts or time and materials, we always come in on time and under budget. In some cases, projects have been completed while circuits remained energized in order to keep residential and commercial customers in service.

From wood poles carrying 12kV to full-blown steel structures running 500kV, we know our stuff. Whenever utilities have needed our expertise, we’ve been there to get them up and running. Whether we’re replacing one pole for a private industrial customer or the complete installation of a new distribution system, every job is done right, on time, and on budget.

Underground Drilling

“Boring” in a Good Way

Our crews and supervisors have decades of experience and all the certification necessary to get your job done right - every time. That includes installation of electrical lines and conduits underground, pulling and splicing cable, racking cable in vaults and installing elbows. We can even troubleshoot and repair.

Using guided boring methodologies, we’ve helped utility as well as commercial customers replace primary and secondary electrical cables in some of the most difficult to reach places imaginable, including property easements, parks, through rock, clay, sand, gravel and more. Anywhere conventional open extraction won’t work, our crews come to the rescue - installing conduits and vaults for all types of distribution networks and circuits.

We’ve made underground easy for clients like PG&E, Avista, SCE (Southern California Edison), City of Anaheim Public Utilities, PGE, PacifiCorp and more. If you’re looking to go underground, we are here to get to work.
