Our crews have built structures ranging from single wood poles carrying 69kV for PacifiCorp in the Willamette Valley to steel lattice towers for Bonneville Power Administration with 500kV triple bundled lines in the Cascade Mountains of Snohomish County, Washington.

Directional Drilling

In addition to pole replacement, reconductor work and other “above ground” utility work, ILB also has the capability to install electrical lines and conduits underground through guided boring methodologies. Since 1992, ILB has provided utility and commercial customers with the ability to replace primary and secondary electrical cables in backyard easements and other areas where it is no longer cost effective or feasible to install buried facilities by conventional open excavation applications. In many areas landscaping, development, high traffic roads, and environmentally sensitive areas make digging open trenches impossible. ILB has drilling equipment with the capability to drill through rocky conditions, clay, sand, cobbles, and gravel.
