Overhead Transmission
International Line Builders, Inc. specializes in the construction, installation and repair of overhead transmission lines carrying voltages between 69kV and 500kV. Our crews have built structures ranging from single wood poles carrying 69kV for PacifiCorp in the Willamette Valley to steel lattice towers for Bonneville Power Administration with 500kV triple bundled lines in the rugged Cascade Mountains of Snohomish County, Washington.
Over the past several years, ILB has replaced thousands of transmission structures and installed thousands of miles of new conductor for our utility customers all over the western U.S. Many of these projects have been executed under our various alliance agreements and many have been performed under firm, fixed-price contracts. ILB has always come in "on time" and "under budget." In some instances, these projects have been completed while the circuits remained energized in order to keep residential and commercial customers in service. Due to the geographical area we serve, and the diversity of our customer base, ILB's management team, as well as our highly experienced field supervisors and crew members, have the knowledge, training and expertise necessary for changing out transmission pole H-structures on steep hillsides in the Van Duzer Corridor of the mountainous Oregon Coast, replacing fiber optic peaks on steel lattice towers in the congested commercial districts of the Bay Area of San Francisco, California, or reconductor jobs and line hardware replacements on transmission structures in the mountains of northern Idaho.
Whatever your electric power transmission needs may be, ILB can get it done for you. For further information on how International Line Builders, Inc. can help your company,
