With a dedicated underground division focused on providing service to utility and private power system owners, ILB is uniquely qualified to perform underground work on distribution circuits. From URD to network protection to installing conduit and vaults for all types of distribution networks and circuits, the ILB Underground Division can perform what you need, when you need it.

The management team for the ILB underground group has literally decades of experience performing and supervising all aspects of underground construction. Our crews have extensive experience installing conduit, pulling cable, splicing cable, racking cable in vaults, making up and installing elbows, troubleshooting and repairing both network systems and underground distribution systems. Our underground crews can also find your cable faults and expose them for repair by your crews, or perform the repair for you.

From trenching to directional drilling to installing conduit, cable and vaults, we have the experience and all the equipment resources needed to perform this type of work. Our crews have worked on underground distribution systems for clients all over the western states, from Bakersfield, CA to Sacramento, CA to the East Bay Area of California to Medford, OR to Portland, OR, in Seattle and also Spokane, WA and northern Idaho. Our underground clients include PG&E, SMUD, Avista, PGE, PacifiCorp and many others.
